Robinhood is an incredibly helpful, free app that allows anyone buy and sell stocks. Basically, the app makes stock trading cheap, intuitive, mobile and easy. There is no denying that people our age love to be able to do something right from their phone. With that being said, this app is exactly what young investors were looking for. This app unquestionably assists to give people a better understanding of what happens in the stock market.

I believe that this app can definitely be used and incorporated into class work. Professors can have their students download the app and have them do research on specific stocks or have them read recent news of things that may affect the stock market. This app can help students understand different topics they are being taught in class.

As a Finance major, in my future career, this app can without question help people I will be working with gain more knowledge about what I will be doing. If I decide to become a Financial Planner, I can have my clients download the app and have them follow their investments, and advise them on what they should be doing with their money. 1. Hi Peter,
Robinhood seems like an important app for those interested in stocks and wanting to get involved with the stock market. I do not know much about stocks, so maybe if I downloaded this app then I could gain a better understanding.

  2. My experience with Robinhood wasn't so positive. I became addicted to the penny stocks and day trading and lost a bit of money! It is a very intuitive app, however, and I learned a lot about the market and trading. A trader could also do more advanced trading such as puts and calls if they wish which make it both beginner and advanced.

  7. Hi Peter! I never heard of robinhood before today. I think it mostly because I’m not really into the stock and such. I really don’t know anything about and would not know what is good or not good. Leaving me to not waste money on such a thing. Though for somebody that is in to such a thing this could be great! It can leave it to be very easy access with it being just an app!

  8. I am completely unfamiliar with how buying and selling stocks works so this was very interesting to hear about. The ease of use, being directly on your phone, is definitely the best feature.

Fantastic choice! I am also a user of Robinhood. I love the aspect of which it eliminates the middle man as brokers can expensive and usually have requirements for order amounts. I especially love the the selection of ETFs available on the platform.

Whether it is for personal use, or for professional use, there is no denying that social media is something that can be used to build different networks. For example, I currently work at a car dealership and when the dealership is looking for a new employee, managers will use different resources such as Indeed and LinkedIn in order to find candidates and then will find the cand...
